John and I planned a trip home to Pennsylvania for Christmas 2010. On Decemember 27,2010 John had made us a dinner reservation at La Braza Brazilian Steakhouse. I suspected that something big was going to happen because John never ever makes reservations for anything. While getting ready and waiting on him to get me, I kept saying to my mom and sister that I think John is going to propose to me tonight. Naturally they both seemed happy for us, but claimed they didn't know anything. He picked me up and we ate dinner, we drank and we talked. Dinner was almost over and still no talk about us or future. At that moment I felt disappointed, thinking my proposal wasnt happening anytime soon. He paid the check, put on my coat and opened the door for me. John than stopped me just outside, in the freezing cold weather. He said, "Before we go anywhere I need to ask you something." I said, "What?" John than got down on one knee in the snow and ask "Michelle Ann Sekula will you marry me?" My response "Did you ask my dad?" He said "Yes!" I said "YES. Of course!!" He than placed the most gorgeous ring on my finger! We than went back to my parents house to share the news. A night we Wil never forget.
