While on vacation at the Dominican Republic, he said he wanted to walk on the sand and watch the sunset.  I thought it was sweet, but also a bit cheesy.  Unfortunately, I took too long to get ready and we missed the sunset.  The next day, I made sure I got dressed with enough time.  We walked on the white powdery sand, enjoyed the cool ocean breeze and looked out onto the crystal blue waters.  He held me from behind and asked me if I was enjoying our vacation and what I thought would make it better. I replied, "Everything has been beautiful".  As I felt him walk away, I turned around to find him down on one knee, with a black box containing an absolutely gorgeous ring.  He asked "Will you marry me?"  I was in complete disbelief, shocked, and tears began to roll down my eyes. I didn't even give him an answer, I just kissed him.  He had to ask, "Does that mean yes?"................Mid tears, of course I said "YES!"
